Serving Up Opportunity
Overview:
NVUSD Mentor Programs are designed to give students an opportunity to experience entry level jobs in Napa Valley’s key industries. We want students to see what is being offered in terms of a job but also a potential career in the Napa Valley. These programs are unique in that they are inclusive of all students including those with special needs and those at risk. The programs are designed with key industry partners which are experts in their specific industry to ensure students are getting valid and relevant experience.
The Program:
Students spend 8 weeks in a rotational paid experience, between at least 4 key departments within the culinary industry learning the day to day operations of each area.

Mandatory weekly soft skills workshop every Tuesday from 9:30 am - noon

This opportunity is inclusive to all high school students 16 and older in NVUSD.
